Job Summary
This position will help support and enhance the quality of workforce readiness programs in Minnesota by monitoring grant programs for fiscal and programmatic compliance with applicable federal and state rules and regulations, as well as DEED guidelines. Apply attention to detail and technical expertise in the areas of accounting, audit, program management and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is telework eligible. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment. Please note, the telework policy could change with notice based on business needs.
This position requires occasional travel for on-site monitoring and infrequent travel outside the metro area.

This is a temporary unclassified appointment anticipated to last up to 12 months.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held. Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for this position.
Three (3) years* of experience conducting compliance monitoring for federal or state workforce programs or closely related programs, including providing program and/or fiscal guidance and reporting.
*Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Accounting/Finance, Human Services, Business, or other closely related fields as determined by the agency may substitute for one *(1) year of experience; master's degree substitutes for eighteen (18) months of experience; Ph.D. substitutes for twenty-four (24) months of experience.
