Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, offices, and other areas.
• Empty trash throughout the building.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and counters.
• Dust furniture, shelves, and other surfaces.
• Wash windows and mirrors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the cafeteria and kitchen areas.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains.

• Safety and Security:

• Ensure that all doors and windows are locked and secured at the end of the day.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in setting up and taking down for school events.
• Monitor and maintain the school grounds, including snow removal and salting in winter.

• Other Duties:

• Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed.
• Follow all school district policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skills: Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods, and bend and stoop frequently.
• Other: Must be able to pass a background check.

Additional Information:

• This position is full-time.
• Hours may vary depending on the school district's needs.
• Some evening and weekend work may be required.
