The Legal and Government Affairs team at CoreWeave is highly collaborative and partners closely with teams across the company to navigate complex policy, regulatory, and business environments while enabling innovation and growth. The team is pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and deeply engaged in strategic decision-making, with a strong emphasis on building trusted relationships across the organization.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Director, Government Affairs, Federal , to serve as CoreWeave's relationship leader with Congress, the Administration, and key federal agencies. Based in Washington, D.C., and reporting to the VP, Government Affairs, you will shape and advance CoreWeave's agenda on AI, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity, driving headlines and outcomes. You will lead CoreWeave's federal engagement, building a prioritized relationship architecture across key committees, agencies, and the Administration and converting those relationships into concrete outcomes on legislation, rulemakings, procurement, and compliance. The role also serves as a key partner to CoreWeave Federal, the company's growing public sector business, supporting direct agency engagement, procurement strategy, and appropriations opportunities.

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $264,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
