Requirements

• 3+ years operating mail inserters, folder inserters, inkjet printers, tabbers, pressure sealers, or similar high-volume production machines in printing or mailing environments.
• Bring a high school diploma or GED
• Demonstrate strong grasp of mailing regulations, machine setup, and safety practices.
• Handle computer interfaces confidently for equipment controls and file management.
• Communicate clearly to train others, follow procedures, and coordinate across teams.
• Show mechanical aptitude for adjustments, repairs, and quick issue resolution.
• Stay organized and detail-focused, prioritizing tasks while double-checking work.
• Thrive as a proactive team player who mentors colleagues and spots improvement opportunities.
• Bonus if you have commercial printing experience or lead group background.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate inserter and inkjet machines to hit speed, quality, and compliance targets.
• Analyze job specs and client requirements to produce error-free, regulation-ready mailings.
• Perform quality control with barcoding tech before sealing, ensuring top standards.
• Train and mentor operators on best practices, equipment use, and process tweaks.
• Create or update standard procedures to speed up jobs and reduce material waste.
• Enforce safety protocols, wear PPE, and manage chemicals per SDS guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and join regular safety sessions.
• Log daily activities, handle special projects, and support high-volume runs across multiple machines.
