Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Medical Billing Specialist Opportunity A growing healthcare organization is seeking a
Medical Billing Specialist to support its Revenue Cycle team. This role is focused on
commercial insurance billing , including payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, appeals, and EOB review.
Responsibilities - Process electronic insurance payment posting
- Perform accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up with commercial insurance carriers
- Review and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims
- Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice
- Prepare and submit insurance appeals
- Follow up on outstanding claims and reimbursement issues
- Maintain accurate account documentation and billing records
- Work aging reports and assist in reducing outstanding A/R balances
Qualifications - Experience with medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle operations
- Knowledge of commercial insurance claims, payment posting, A/R follow-up, denials, and appeals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
