About the Role:
Metal Specialties is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Monterey, CA. In this role, you will be integral to our production process, crafting high-quality metal projects, beautiful homes and specialized architectural work that is unique to our area. Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Operate various metal fabrication machinery, including shears, press brakes and welders.
• Measure and cut metal materials to precise dimensions using appropriate tools.
• Assemble and weld components according to project requirements.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role. 2+ years required.
• Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in metal fabrication.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
