MIG and TIG  W ELDER

Automation Personnel Services is seeking  MIG and  TIG Welder s for an industrial rack manufacturer located in Chattanooga, TN. Qualified candidates will perform essential functions related to metal displays and fixtures. Position are fulltime temporary to hire based on performance.

Pay rate

$20.00 per hour 

Shifts and  Hours

Night shift: 3:30pm - 2:00am Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed

MIG and TIG  Welder Duties and Responsibilities 

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Set up components for welding to specifications.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamp pieces. 
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead). 
• Inspect welds and structures to ensure quality and accuracy. 
• Weld with TAW, GMAW & FCAW in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel

MIG and TIG  Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing environment. 
• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Completion of a welding certification program or technical training preferred.
• Lift 50lbs (in office assessment will be conducted)
