In this dynamic work setting, the Nursing Dean of Academic Affairs will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and institutional leaders to support innovative curriculum delivery, including online, hybrid, and on-site learning experiences. The role includes managing academic operations such as course scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation to ensure that students receive a high-quality, student-centered educational experience. The Dean will also serve as a primary liaison for accreditation and regulatory bodies, preparing and reviewing reports, leading site visits, and ensuring ongoing compliance with state boards of nursing and national accrediting organizations. The Nursing Dean of Academic Affairs will provide leadership in faculty recruitment, hiring, orientation, and performance evaluation, supporting ongoing professional development to strengthen teaching effectiveness and clinical relevance. This position will champion inclusive teaching practices and learning environments that support a diverse student body, encourage interprofessional collaboration, and prepare graduates for contemporary practice in a variety of healthcare settings. The Dean will actively promote academic integrity, ethical practice, and alignment with Chamberlain University’s commitment to excellence in healthcare education.
