How you’ll contribute
A phlebotomist who excels in this role:
- Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
- Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing
and screening donors.

What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS
certification, and phlebotomy training. Additional requirements include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification from ASCP or NHA preferred
- Basic Life support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of hire
- Formal phlebotomy training preferred
