Title: SAP S/4HANA Basis Consultant
Locations: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months

Salary Range: $45 - $53/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and execute SAP S/4HANA version upgrade projects. The role requires a strong technical background in SAP Basis, HANA database administration, and upgrade lifecycle management. This is a hybrid role with a duration of 6 months.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA version upgrades, specifically from 2020 to the latest versions.
• Proficiency in planning and executing upgrades using SUM/DMO.
• Experience with pre-upgrade checks, readiness assessments, and system preparation.
• Ability to coordinate SPAU/SPDD, custom code checks, and post-upgrade activities.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in system performance tuning, kernel updates, and transport operations.
• Ability to work closely with infrastructure, functional, ABAP, and security teams for a smooth go-live.
• Experience in providing cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SAP S/4HANA version upgrades using SUM/DMO.
• Perform pre-upgrade checks and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure a smooth transition and go-live.
