Summary SUMMARY: The Senior Writer provides high-level writing, editing, and research support for complex correspondence management tasks within the IHS Office of Executive Secretariat Staff (ExecSec) under the Office of the IHS Director. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Researches, organizes, writes, edits, and produces final products for a wide variety of complex documentation. Recommends overall organization, layout, editorial standards, and information relevance for correspondence. Coordinates documents with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency. Interviews subject‑matter experts and leadership personnel to develop or confirm content requirements. Prepares draft replies for review and approval by designated officials. Skills and Qualifications Meticulous attention to detail to ensure adherence to HHS, IHS, and Federal Government guidelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint online, Adobe, MS Teams, OneDrive, and internal tracking systems (ATS). Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information without breaches of HIPAA or the Privacy Act. Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
