Job Description
Parklife is a unique and seasonally driven restaurant with cozy indoor dining areas and a vast outdoor space for the warmer months. We are located at 636 Degraw St in Brooklyn near Barclays Center.
This part-time position is ideal for someone who is available most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and can work until 2am when needed.
The candidate should enjoy being in the hospitality industry and understands that weekends are the prime nights. This position would be supplementing their existing income. You must have at least 1 year of experience as a host or server.
You will be required to memorize and properly articulate our food and drink menus to the customers. You will also be trained on OpenTable and manage reservations. We are a small team so you are expected to chip in as needed including but not limited to bussing, taking food and drink orders, running food and drinks, seating guests, organizing and cleaning, and setting up and striking down events.
Hourly wages are paid out weekly as well as tips. All staff are part of the tip pool.

Please note, this can be a physically demanding job and you will be required to be on your feet often. As the weather warms up, you'll walk many many steps between the pass and the farthest tables outside.
Although this position is part-time, there will be an opportunity to add more shifts. We offer FOH opportunities at our venue littlefield (littlefieldnyc -dot- com). We encourage cross training between the two spaces whenever possible.
