Steampunk's Legal Department is looking for a motivated, well-rounded Intern for the Summer of 2026. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to assist our in-house counsel with various projects. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to how a legal team advises a business on risks and strategy in a fast‑paced corporate environment. Contributions Support corporate compliance efforts. Assist with employment law matters. Learn about corporate intellectual property protection. Get hands‑on exposure to federal contracting processes, regulations, and laws. Qualifications Current Law Student who has completed at least one year (1L or 2L) at an ABA‑accredited law school. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate legal concepts for non‑lawyers. Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Copilot). Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be local to DMV.
