Key Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of 2 additional Electrical team members daily.

• Install well designed standby generator systems with a well stocked and replenished daily van stock.(None to few trips to supply shop)

• Perform electrical wiring between generators, transfer switches, and home panels

• Follow designed load calculations and install load managing equipment to ensure proper system sizing.

• Install and configure Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

• Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes

• Test and commission generator systems to ensure safe, reliable operation

• Diagnose and repair existing generator and electrical systems

• Educate homeowners on generator use, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Collaborate with designers, plumbers, project managers, and other team members

• Maintain accurate job documentation and pictures in a well managed job management software.

Required Qualifications :

• 4+ years of electrical experience (required)

• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and code compliance

• Experience with ATS systems and generator integration (preferred)

• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

• Customer-first attitude and professional demeanor

• Ability to work in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience installing or servicing home standby generators

• Familiarity with Generac systems

• Electrical license (preferred, not required)

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortability working in confined spaces, on rooftops, or in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to work on ladders or scaffolding as needed.

Compensation :

• Competitive hourly pay: $25 – $38/hour (based on experience)
