Immediately hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Operators and /Machinists for a large manufacturing company on the southside of San Antonio.

Pay is up to $19/hr. based on experience

Shift is Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm (overtime as required)

Duties:

• Able to replace / rework if any tool elements are found worn out, broken, chipped, etc.
• Responsible for solving tooling issues if any found during running the mold.
• Be able to train junior operators in assembly techniques (Grinding techniques, advanced inspection techniques etc.,)
• Responsible for receiving new mold’s & conducting incoming inspection
• Handling of measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper.
• Inspection the tool elements in height gauge / master
• Responsible for changing the mold tool in molding.
• Estimate the work as per plan and deliver the job 100% on time every time.
• Prepare the machining sketch for grinding operators
• Assemble tool and ensure all shot-offs are perfectly matched
• Conducts and monitors 5S activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or ED preferred
• Must have experience in mold assembly
• Seeking at least 2 years in tooling industry
