Job Description

Job Title: Sr. UI/UX Designer

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite - Shipley Building, 1970 W. Broad St.)

Job Type: Contract (C2C)

Position Overview


The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing modern, intuitive, and user-centered interfaces for enterprise applications. This role requires close collaboration with business users, project managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality design solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define UI/UX requirements
  • Design:
    • Wireframes
    • Interactive prototypes
    • User-friendly interfaces for complex business workflows
  • Lead UI/UX efforts across the full product lifecycle (research → design → testing → iteration)
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs
  • Develop and maintain a Design System Library
  • Ensure seamless handoff of UI designs to development teams
  • Ensure designs follow security and accessibility best practices
  • Work closely with developers for frontend-backend integration
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, etc.)
  • Drive improvements and contribute to product roadmap strategy
  • Lead design discussions and influence decision-making across teams
Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of UI/UX design experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • UI design using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • Frameworks like Bootstrap / Fluent UI
    • Figma or similar design tools
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (8+ years)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Site architecture
    • User flows and navigation design
  • Experience designing applications using ASP.NET / C#
  • Proven experience delivering products end-to-end in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Highly Desired Skills

  • UI/UX Certification
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC applications
  • Expertise in:
    • User Journey Mapping
    • Workflow / conversational diagrams
  • Experience implementing secure UI design practices
