K&A Appliance has an opening for a full-time Appliance Service Technician to work out of their new Exton, PA location. Job Summary: Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers' homes. Assist with service repairs in warehouse when needed. Prepare invoices and collect payments on completed service calls and any parts or additional labor costs from customers. Maintain the Service Van and keep it stocked with parts used on a regular basis. Communicate effectively with Service Coordinator regarding service calls and any issues that arise. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7am to 5:30pm. 40-50 Hours weekly depending on volume of Service Calls.

Job Requirements: Must have at least 3 years experience servicing/repairing major household appliances as a full-time employed technician. Must have a clean and valid driver's license. To lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with assistance or leverage device. Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and checking for leaks. Provide excellent service and customer care during the service of appliances in customers' home. Must have mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things. Protect the customer's home while working & cleaning work area of all debris. Maintain professional appearance (Uniforms provided). Legibly complete all necessary paperwork. Ability to work well under pressure & respond in a professional & courteous manner in all situations. Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
