Job Description

A well-established company in the ag industry is looking for a Farm Manager for their company in Colorado . This company is very progressive, and not only looking for someone involved in day-to-day operations, but also someone who will fit in within their culture. They see high value on employee development and creating a good environment for their employees to work in.

Requirements:

* A strong on farm ops management experience
* Row crop experience (mostly wheat, corn, milo)
* Can build and maintain relationships with vendors.
* Dealing with logistics
* Delegating tasks,
* On farm experience,
* Agronomy side of the business, and capital purchases, grain marketing
* Strong tech/computer knowledge.
* Experience with John Deer ops center

Details:

* Personality and ethics can trump some of the experience. They place a high emphasis on communication and support.
* Looking for someone who wants long term, rewards for long term, where everyone has a voice.
* Try as best they can to give people a work/life balance. Take major holidays off and Sundays off unless they really must.
* This person will be over 10-12 employees
