We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support a senior HR and payroll leader in a fast paced professional environment. This position plays a key role in recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits support, and general administrative operations. This is a fully on site role based in the Philadelphia area, five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruiting efforts including posting roles, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant records
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and document candidate feedback
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires including paperwork, background checks, and orientation scheduling
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for new employees during onboarding
  • Monitor shared inboxes and phone lines and route inquiries appropriately
  • Maintain employee records, directories, and HR documentation with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide administrative support to leadership across HR, finance, and operations
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and general documentation as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred plus 2+ years of HR or administrative experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred
  • Self starter with strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
