Overview Job Summary: Bern’s Steak House is a world-renowned restaurant seeking a professional meat cutter to receive, trim, cut, monitor and responsibly store dry-aged and fresh meats. The role requires the use of a band saw and knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing equipment, shelves, coolers and work areas. Responsibilities and Duties Receive, trim, cut and portion meat; monitor stock levels and store dry-aged and fresh meats safely. Lift 50–90 lbs to move meat from cooler to station (proper lifting techniques). Stand for extended periods during shifts. Communicate effectively and remain calm under pressure. Ensure the quality of all products. Maintain cleanliness of the station throughout the shift. Work in an open kitchen with guest tours during service. Qualifications and Skills Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting. Attention to detail. Ability to work well with others and maintain a professional demeanor when guests tour the kitchen. Ability to work quickly in a safe and effective manner.
