Up to $28/hr based on experience | Full-time | Outdoor field work | Fiber optic and telecommunications

Looking for an Outside Plant (OSP) Low Voltage Technician job in the New Albany area? We're hiring technicians to install, splice, maintain, and repair fiber-optic and copper cables that power telecommunications and broadband networks.

Whether your background is in OSP construction, fiber optics, telecommunications, underground utilities, or low voltage systems, this role offers the opportunity to work on projects that keep people and businesses connected.

What You'll Do

• Install, splice, maintain, and repair fiber optic and copper cable
• Perform aerial, underground, and buried cable installation
• Test and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure
• Read construction drawings and follow project specifications
• Complete work safely while meeting quality standards
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

What You'll Bring

• Experience with Outside Plant (OSP), fiber optic, low voltage, telecommunications, or utility construction
• Experience installing, splicing, or repairing fiber optic or copper cable preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift equipment and perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
