As a Security Officer Reception Specialist in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, support access control and badge activity, and help monitor security-related concerns through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, bringing a people-first approach, teamwork, and integrity to each interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue passes when required, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other front desk activity in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Support a professional lobby and reception presence by answering questions, directing guests and drivers, and helping to deter unauthorized access at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Complete routine reports, maintain accurate front desk records, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
