Job Description

Sims-Lohman, a distributor of cabinetry and countertops is seeking a Box Truck Driver at our distribution center located in Crestview, Florida.

Responsibilities:

You would transport, load and unload cabinets and other materials in a 26' box truck to our valued production and custom home builder's project sites, which include both residential, multi-family, and commercial properties.

*All team members are required to train and rotate to work in our warehouse on loading and unloading.*

• All team members are required to train and rotate to work in our warehouse on loading and unloading.

Our Drivers work:

• Full-time; Scheduled Monday through Friday; Day shift with No Overnights but occasional weekends

Requirements:

• Ability to drive manual/clutch and/or automatic transmission
• Ability to safely drive a 26-foot box truck
• Ability to lift heavy weight materials repeatedly
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• A valid driver's license, with a clean record and the ability to obtain a Medical DOT card needed. Must be 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Ability to work with heavyweight materials (100+pounds)

Shift:

• Day shift, typically 7:00 am to 3:30pm but does vary depending on workload
• No overnights
• Occasional Weekends, if work allows.

Experience:

• Box Truck Driver : 3 years (Preferred)
