About the Position

A 157-bed non-profit community hospital north of Boston has an opening for a day-shift Hospitalist. A long-standing community hospital that plays a key role in local healthcare. While not a large academic medical center, it provides most everyday hospital services locally, with major tertiary care available in nearby Boston.

• Block schedule 7 days on/7 days off
• 182 shifts per year
• No ICU
• No procedures
• EPIC EMR
• Employed position with a high base salary and benefits, including 401k, health, dental, vision, and license reimbursement

• A mid-sized city in northeastern Massachusetts with a population of about 111,000 residents.
• This is a diverse community with a strong educational presence, including the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a public research university with nearly 17,000 students, as well as a full public school system featuring elementary schools, middle schools, and Lowell High School, which recently completed a major campus upgrade.
• The city is located about 30 miles northwest of Boston, making it possible to commute via car or commuter rail while still enjoying a smaller, more affordable urban environment.
• For entertainment and recreation, residents can explore historic sites in Lowell National Historical Park, attend concerts and sporting events at the Tsongas Center, watch baseball at Edward A. LeLacheur Park, or spend time outdoors at places like Shedd Park.
• There are many festivals, cultural events, and riverfront activities along the Merrimack River, offering a mix of history, arts, and outdoor recreation while still being close to the dining, nightlife, and major attractions of the Boston metropolitan area.
